This Privacy Policy explains how MCdb (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website and the MC Crafting Desk / MCdb mobile apps (the “Services”).
Information we collect
We may collect: (a) device and app diagnostics (crash logs, performance data) via Firebase Crashlytics; (b) approximate usage analytics (screens viewed, feature usage) via Firebase Analytics; (c) advertising identifiers and ad interaction data when ads are shown (Google AdMob and mediation partners); (d) technical data such as IP address, user agent, language, and approximate region as processed by our hosting and CDN providers; (e) optional preferences you set in the app (theme, language, favorites) stored on your device.
How we use information
We use information to operate and improve the Services, fix bugs, measure feature usefulness, deliver and measure advertising, enforce security, and comply with law. We do not sell personal information as a primary business model. Advertising partners may process data for their own advertising purposes subject to your consent choices where required.
Ads, tracking, and consent
The mobile apps may show ads via Google AdMob and mediation networks. On iOS we may request App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission before accessing the advertising identifier for personalized ads. Where Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) / consent forms apply (for example in the EEA/UK), we request consent before personalized advertising. You can change system-level tracking and ad personalization settings on your device. Website cookie preferences can be managed via the cookie settings control in the footer.
Children
The Services are general-audience tools and are not directed at children under 13 (or the digital consent age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
Data retention and security
Analytics and crash data are retained according to the defaults of our providers (typically months to a limited number of years) unless a shorter period is configured. On-device preferences and offline caches remain until you clear app data or uninstall. We use industry-standard HTTPS and provider security controls; no method of transmission is 100% secure.
Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of personal data, or to object to certain processing including personalized advertising. Contact us using the details below. You may also use platform controls (ATT, Ad personalization, cookie settings) to limit tracking.
Third-party services
We rely on processors such as Google (Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, AdMob), advertising mediation partners, and hosting/CDN providers. Their privacy policies govern their processing of data they receive.
International transfers
Information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our providers operate. Where required, we rely on appropriate transfer safeguards offered by those providers.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the Services after an update means you acknowledge the revised policy.
